While Obi Wan may not have spent a unusual amount of time for his appearance, Cal certainly put some effort in trying to calm down the bruises and marks left from the heavy vines and thick brush of the Kasyykian forests, and despite the topical creams he'd received from the medical staff, and the past few hours of procedures being done to his wounds, he still looked as if he'd arrived straight off a battlefield...which in all honesty...he had.
He bid BD-1 goodbye who happily chirped from his charging station and he made his way along a familiar path to Master Kenobi's quarters. Cal can't help but laugh at Obi Wan's greeting. Typical. "You know, I think I'm going to take that as a compliment and not read into it any further." he responds with a knowing smile. He appreciates it.
"I knew you'd have tea." he says, laughter bubbling up and filling the entryway. "Was actually hoping you'd have some, you always manage to get your hands on the most exotic of flavors" he complimented, "What are we going to enjoy tonight?"
Cal can't help but take in the unchanged sight of his quarters, it was as homey as ever, warm and inviting, just like it's occupant. "I picked this up at the market, hoping it will go with dinner." he says holding up his favorite bread from the local Courasant market stalls. If I'd known I was going to have a dinner invitation, I would have picked up a bottle of Corellian Wine or something."
